How can you help?

Volunteering

Medical Aid Abroad will always welcome volunteer workers to help move, sort and pack goods, especially if you come from a medical, nursing or pharmaceutical background.  But all willing helpers are welcome.  We currently have a very happy team of about 12, who come together once a week to get the work done.  It is not heavy work and there is always a good morning tea break.

Funding

If you would like to help Medical Aid Abroad financially, that would be a big help.

Nothing that MAA does generates any income, so we rely totally on donations, sponsorship and fund-raising events.  As MAA is a registered charity (CC20916) all donations may be claimed back against your tax.  We will send you an annual donation receipt but we do require your email details,  or your name and address details.

Donations or financial support may be sent any way you choose.

Cheque: Post to PO Box 26336, Epsom, Auckland 1344. Please include your name and address details for a donation receipt.

Internet banking: A payment or donation can be made directly to our bank account 06 0287 0232094 00.  To match with your donation receipt, please include your name in the ‘reference’ field. Internet banking gives you the opportunity to make this a regular donation.

Credit Card or PayPal:  More information on this to come, watch this space.

Regular Supporters: Perhaps you may prefer to make a regular weekly or monthly donation – e.g. $5 per week or $25 per month.  You would need to work with your bank to set this up.  But once it is done it is very easy and the reliability of income helps MAA plan its work.   The ANZ bank number is 06 0287 0232094 00.

Receipts: If you would like a donation receipt, you will need to send our treasurer (Raj Chaudhary) a letter to PO Box 26336, Epsom, Auckland 1344 – or an email, with your name and address details to:  maatreasurer1@gmail.com

Mailing List:
